If a number appears beside the pupil's
name he has been identified on the Panorama photograph. A red number means there is doubt about the
identification.

    RENCH A.R. (BOB) 064 I started with
an apprenticeship 1959-64 with Westinghouse Grace & Signal Co. at Chippenham
obtaining an HND in Electrical Engineering. Then moved to the then 'Southern
Electricity Board' now part of Southern & Scottish Energy (1964-2006). I was
involved in several operational engineering jobs as a supervising engineer
before finishing as an Operational Trainer for the last 9 years. I retired
in March 2006, but returned 3 weeks later on a temporary part time basis to
help out with admin work which helps keeps my brain active!

I married, in 1964, Helen, a local girl from Weymouth. We have 2 children
    and 5 grandchildren.

After leaving Hardye's I went to the University of Exeter and left with a
degree in Economics. I joined a car manufacturer in Coventry and stayed here
for about seven years. A short spell with a computer company followed, and
then it was back to cars with a leading importer. By this time I was
married, with a son and daughter, and living in Berkshire. In 1979
redundancy hit me, and I joined a local College (later a University) as a
senior lecturer in Management. I stayed there until retirement having gained
an MBA and moved several times within the organisation. I am now enjoying
	retirement. (Jan 2014)
